The Shack by William P. Young —read by Roger Mueller —his reading was a little too sweet considering the first part is about a daughter’s brutal murder —I’ll probably offend many by saying I didn’t like it —very religious which I think is great —I just don’t think he’s a very good writer —in his […]

He’s been in Heaven since 1999 after about seven frustrating years of Alzheimers. I miss him. Dad was always cheerful. Not everyone gets a father […]

I am the wife of a wonderful educator, the mother of five great kids and the grandmother of nineteen charming grandchildren. I love learning, teaching, reading, speaking, writing, photography and music. I want to discuss a variety of subjects such as: menus for a crowd, depression, cleaning tips, childhood anxiety, ideas for family gatherings, syndromes, positive psychology, drug abuse and whatever else comes up in this quandary of daily living.
If everything turns out just like I want it to, this website will be a gathering place for friends around the world. We will learn together, share ideas and encourage each other in our aspirations. Hope you’ll join me!
